لكن ثمة موضوعات أخرى من المقرر أن تثار خلال الاحتفال باليوم العالمي للمرأة هذا العام؛ ومن ذلك فكرة "التشجيع على الاندماج" والمشاركة من أجل "كسر الحواجز وتحدّي الصور النمطية وتهيئة البيئات لاحترام وتقدير كل النساء".
وأكدت الحملة الخاصة بيوم المرأة العالمي قائلة : "يمكننا جميعاً أن نختار تحدي وادانة وفضح التحيزات المبنية على أساس الجندر (النوع الاجتماعي) وعدم المساواة، ويمكن جميعاً اختيار البحث عن إنجازات المرأة والاحتفال بها بشكل جماعي، والمساعدة في خلق عالم أكثر شمولا للجميع ".
"كلام عن اليوم العالمي للمرأة لا ينتهي، فأنتِ مصدر الحب والنجاح في هذا العالم."
تمثل ألوان يوم المرأة العالمي رموزًا قوية تعكس القيم الأساسية لهذا اليوم، وقد اختيرت بعناية لتعبر عن النضال والتقدم الذي حققته النساء على مر السنين.
